Water Commission delivers for labor government

Appearing to lack faith in its Department of Natural Resources to manage water issues Labor established a flash Water Commission.
Labor hides behind the Coordinator General to provide a parachute out of the Traveston Dam messup, with sighs of relief when Peter Garrett refuses to approve the unpopular dam.
Water questions are flicked
to the Water Commission when an opinion is needed to get them out of trouble.
It has been a busy week for the QWC team. Play 'who's who', matching images and names of key QWC people :
Elizabeth Nosworthy, Jamie Quinn, David Green, John Bradley and talented journalist, Gerald Tooth providing media expertise.
While one of the board refers to his role in selling electricity infrastructure, some hard hitting reports Gerald prepared for the ABC questioned how State Governments handled selling off of vital infrastructure.
5/12 Good news from the QWC that Ms Nosworthy is okay and actively carrying out her duties and chairing meetings to generate solutions for the State Governments water problems. Previously she would be out in the media every time there was a shower of rain during the tough times, cheering SEQ to use less water. Now it is only the top media people allowed to comment.
