Ellen warns troops - 27 December prediction

Owner of a Queensland Parliament franchise, Ellen Pea, is mobilising her troops.
An edict has been issued demanding candidates be on war footing for a surprise Christmas election. "Waving at traffic with corflutes at the busiest locations must commence immediately. Happy children and people in costumes will reduce insults and complaints."
To avoid campaign fatigue, December 27 is an excellent date.

Watch for clearing the decks. Watch for swift responses to blogs, radio talkback and papers as supporters are mobilised. Labor will attempt the "sneak back in when people are distracted by important stuff, such as buying more stuff," strategy.
Ms Pea remains vaguely hopeful of an upset win. "My team has left an unremovable stain on the landscape, providing hope, vision and real solutions we will implement when Cap'n Bligh sails off into retirement."
Ms Pea has organised for her supporters to attend a fundraiser. Mastercard or visa will be accepted to honour pledges following an incredibly emotional speech pleading for cash by party icon, Vaughan Johnson.
