City Council faces IT scrutiny

Favourite Politician was in the shot with Kev, but Anna had the initiative to jump in front. At least she was persuaded to take off the hard hat and leave a glass of recycled water with her advisers.

A painful article in the Courier Mail... Council lacks funds to resource work crews involved in the most important services expected of local government. Allegations from a trusted supporter detailing massive waste, if correct are outrageous.
I am organising a working bee, getting permission to invite people with a disabilities to fix their footpath and traffic island while Council uses millions for other stunts.

$1 million given to BP and Origin in return for so called carbon certificates, cosy deals with commercial providers, unacceptable waste needs the blowtorch of scrutiny.
A Gold Coast web provider prepares the Lord Mayor's website to release news stories in a timely fashion. Council's online newsroom can't seem to find stories that should be released, throwing out the occasional scrap of council funded entertainment.

Sadly the guy lost his job after sharing his thoughts.

I now exercise caution completing online surveys supplied by Brisbane City Council. A few minutes after completing one of the Have your Say commercially prepared surveys I began getting virus hits. Coincidence maybe, but to be safe, I would avoid Council's zoomerang surveys requiring very open security. We had not had a virus in months of visiting hundreds of sites.
