New Water testing lab
The Scientific Analytical Services branch has a new $10 million facility to test waste water and non waste water. The council is now in a better position to assess and then improve our city’s water quality. SAS officers test 400,000 samples a year - public health and drinking water quality, environmental performance of sewerage treatment, river/dam water, landfills, trade waste and waste treatment.
