Mine Water 'released' into Fitzroy River

Oh yummy! Four coal mines in the Fitzroy Basin have commenced "controlled release of stored mine water" during heavy rain in central Queensland. The Oswald deluge had provided sufficient "stream flow" for the BHP mines to release water into the Fitzroy River.
