Emirates brings Cricket Circus to Brisbane

"It's called cricket c-r-i-c-k-e-t ... someone chucks a hard ball at a guy at the other end, holding a hard stick. He can use the stick to belt the ball over the fence ... you come and sit on the seat in the middle of the ground, and please enjoy ..."

$1 million sponsorship at a Cirque Du Gabba performance benefits
Seating, as close to the centre of the ground as possible.

Daughters of the owners are flown in from Dubai to personally greet every guest attending the show and offer them a plastic bag ... not so they can take their own rubbish home ... not a rain poncho in the event of a downpour but two of those annoying red wacky noise makers.
If it is compulsory to use those wackers on their flights I will not be using their service, even if I could ever afford a ticket.
I would be downright IRATE by the end of the journey belting them together to order a lemonade or to participate in singalongs.
14 hours later and newest teenager is still walking around belting them!!!
I did enjoy a hint of 'ludicrous' as beautifully dressed visitors from Dubai appeared bewildered, wondering what was going on and why they had to hand out thousands of noisemakers?
The sponsors package provides the best possible seating for the game, right on the ground.
A star fielder is posted as their minder in case a ball fails to be smashed over the boundary.

Crowd MC had the task of attempting to convince visitors from Dubai it was actually a successful event they could help promote in Dubai.
Blasts of fog are released at intervals to camouflage fielders and confuse batsmen but helps the sponsors to escape without being noticed when they've had enough.
As sponsor, cheer leaders from your organisation can bounce around on a stage built in the stands wearing flourescent bath mats and lip syncing unfamilar pop music. Broncos have their cheerleaders in skimpy outfits, the Gabba has it Emirates bath mat dancers. Someone forgot to turn off the lights for the effect of bouncing flourescent bath mats.
Efforts to honour KFC's sponsorship with "The Chicken Dance" had a much stronger impact to create audience participation than a half time episode of "The Gabba's Got Talent."
Thousands of kids were given an extra hype up with the gift of the new "Mans version" of Solo lemon, with added gurano as they left the grounds. It was a thoughtful move to help them get home without complaining of being tired.
Provision of free public transport to and from the event was excellent, as usual. A gaggle of Busses held up by busway construction brought sweet revenge for all those times it is the motorists stuck in the Captain Cook parking station seeing a bus speed past.
And you thought I was mocking when I said there was red carpet ... Emirates wacker things brought out some drastic, even crazed responses in those around us ...
