Potential risk to members of the community and their own children should motivate a greater sense of responsibility by some parents providing motor bikes for recreation.
At Kianawah Park on Saturday over 300 young children were playing cricket, having the freedom to go to the clubhouse and use the facilities in a well maintained and supervised facility.
Other parents put the future of their children at risk permitting them to ride dangerously in public spaces. At least these guys were wearing helmets when they screamed through the parklands and they did stay off the wicket. Parents should be there when their kids are scaring the heck out of unsuspecting people enjoying such public spaces to apologise of help in the case of an incident.
