Good news for Bunnings staff and customers as the right turn back on to Wecker Road will be returned on completion of a new traffic island.
When the footpath was complete and the lane open, Council began work on the island which will prevent right turns out of the school grounds and pool complex.
Police have been booking frustrated people who can't turn right from Bunnings during construction and do an illegal turn on Wecker Road.
U turns are prohibited and unless you have good local road knowledge you would not know how to head back towards Newnham Road.
Bunnings Management has been assured that right turns from their property will return once the work is completed.
Work on the pool is stunning, with huge trusses being lifted in place for the rooms that will be available. The site manager is an amazing worker, puts in a huge effort to keep the project moving - hope they look after him. When passing you will see him there six days a week, very early and very late most days.
