Set with the challenge of giving the Lord Mayor some ideas to stop City Hall sinking, Kalko decided to sit and think on the City Hall steps to get some inspiration. 
"I'm the man with a plan to save City Hall." Matthew has several visits to the clock tower in his memory banks. How many families can include it on their agenda for holidays?
It was a pleasure to attend a community consultation meeting at City Hall. More than 100 people attended and overwhelming supported the Lord Mayor's passion to save a Brisbane icon. The apparent openness about the challenge ahead of the council.Matthew was dragged along after a huge day assisting us with clean up and landcare at school.
We mucked around with the video camera filming Matt pretending to be the man with a plan to save city hall. Sorry we did not get a chance to ask permission from the Lord Mayor for a pic for the scrapbook. He was running late so the challenge of a pic with my favourite politician remains a challenge to achieve. Maybe at the opening of the Mt Gravatt East Pool in January 2009!
