School Gardens info wanted by Council

Brisbane City Council is collecting information about community gardens, including school gardens that grow food now or have had a garden in the past. This will help build a picture of our city's food resources. Schools are invited to complete a survey about their efforts to maintain food gardens.

My family would starve if they had to rely on my gardening skills but I am interested and have had great pleasure watching children plant, maintain and harvest food from our school garden.
The Stephanie Alexander Foundation is helping establish school kitchens and gardens across the nation, a fantastic initiative.
If I did not have to work I hope I would be spending time at Northey St or Beelarong Farm at Balmoral, encouraging young people with disabilities to be part of the growing action.
