Con - GRAD - ulations for 12 years

An amazing send off for Year 12 students at COCB on Friday - tears and emotional buttons pushed for parents as well as students. With the honour of knowing a few of Nathaniel's friends I have great hope for the future as a talented group of kids step out to make a difference.
Jared displayed his amazing talent in dance - spectacular - and such a wonderful person.
An acapella item, four girls singing the classic, "That's What Friends Are For" was goosebump territory, even a little unfair to push the emotional buttons of parents. Seeing them turn from facing the audience to walk over and sing the last verse at their colleagues was memorable.
"Keep shining, keep smiling ...
Nathaniel was unable to be part of the Roll of Honour, as the very awesome Kay Gagliardi presented those who had been with her and in Year One recognition for their 12 years at the school.
My dragging them off to the country for two years while I worked at Cherbourg denied them the chance to be a part of that club. We honour Kay's input as a brilliant Year One teacher helping give Nathaniel a memorable start in schooling life.

Graduation was a special event for all involved, some incredible talent launching out in the new chapter of their lives.
Headmaster Ron Woolley took time out to pray for the Churchie families and staff dealing with the tragic death of one of their parents and the injuries to those who were celebrating their Year 12 sons schooling. Our school was affected as a feeder to Churchie many of those Mums have been a vital part of Bulimba's history.
