Father’s Day seemed appropriate time to honour the Mighty Bomber as Citipointe Church at Mansfield recognized his work in Cambodia with a Community Spirit award.
Bomber acts like a loving father to the children and people of Cambodia. He will be returning for two months at the end of September.
Bomber shared sad news he received on Friday of a village where he works in Cambodia mourning the death of five more people as a result of a landmine.
Citipointe Church has a facility in Cambodia rescuing girls from a life of prostitution, so the work Bomber is doing had special significance.
Pastor Mark Ramsay followed up on Bomber’s commitment to make a difference with the first of his series of talks, “It’s Not OK” challenging people to fight to win when things need to change. Good on you Bomber, I appreciate your determination to help the people of Cambodia. I first heard Bomber on Spencer Howson's ABC breakfast show.
