Serious traffic crash, Wacol
Police are appealing for witnesses to a single vehicle crash at Wacol that left a woman in hospital with life threatening injuries. The 52-year-old woman crashed into a road barrier on Tile Street at about 1pm this afternoon. She has been taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital. 
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the accident.


Serious traffic crash, Mt Gravatt  - near Mt Gravatt Outlook
A man, believed to be a 19-year-old, has been taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with life-threatening head injuries following a single vehicle crash into a tree at Mt Gravatt this afternoon. Around 3.50pm, the man was driving a utility east along Shire Road when it has crashed into a tree. A female, believed to be 16-years-old, was also in the vehicle at the time and has been taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with life threatening head injuries. The road is expected to remain closed for approximately two hours while the scene is cleared.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the accident.

Fatal crash, Waughs Pocket (Innisfail)

A man has died following a two vehicle crash at Waughs Pocket, north of Innisfail, last night.
Around 10.35pm a sedan and a truck collided on the Bruce Highway about 500 metres south of Waughs Pocket Road.
The driver of the sedan, a 22-year-old man from Innisfail, died at the scene.
The 21-year-old male passenger received non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Cairns Hospital.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
The Bruce Highway was closed for a number of hours however has since been cleared.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.

Fatal traffic crash, Glass House Mountains

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal crash on Steve Irwin Way at the Glass House Mountains today.
Just after 2pm police were called to a multi-vehicle crash near Bowen Road involving three cars and a B-Double truck.
An 85-year-old man and an 83-year-old woman, both from the Sunshine Coast, died at the scene.
A man and a woman have been taken to Nambour Hospital with minor injuries.
