You probably know that Michael Jeffery is a retired Major General and was Australia's Governor General up until 2008. What you might not know is that he is also interested in soils and sustainability. He chairs Soils for Life and was recently appointed as Australia’s first Advocate for Soil Health.

What is regenerative landscape management?

Regenerative landscape management seeks to restore landscape function and deliver outcomes that include: increased production, improved natural resource base, healthy nutrient cycling, increased biodiversity and enhanced resilience. We achieve this through the interrelated components of: SOIL, WATER, VEGETATION and becoming efficient in the use of natural resources.
