"Queensland's top 10" requires 89 members of Parliament to collect nominations for 15 categories describing the Smart State.
Phone voting from March 2009 will select answers to be featured on Bert Newton's 10 to 1 - Queensland Celebrates 150 years.
Categories are :
- Most popular and influential politician
- A sporting politician
- Best natuarl location most used for a media frenzy
- Engineering feats requiring hard hat for photo opportunity
- A defining moment in Queensland hardhat development
- An Invention or innovation in hard hat design suggested by a politician
- Typically Queensland action or stunt by a politician
- Silliest decision by a Government in 150 years
- Best defence of an overseas trip or consultancy after leaving Parliament
- Cleverest Parliamentary comment made in 150 years
"We learn from history in Queensland. We do keep making new mistakes but are determined to stop repeating old ones," she told her spokesman.
