It will end in tears

Observing the political games being played, at our expense, I remember the "It will end in tears" warning that there were consequences to our actions. When attention is focussed on winning the election, staying in power, entrenching mates into positions of influence "it will end in tears."
It ended in tears for Kevin Rudd, it will end in tears for Tony, Julia ... the way they treat others is the way they will be treated ...
Bill Shorten, on ABC TV Q&A justified what he did to Kevin Rudd. I wanted him to detail the effort he had made to speak with the PM about his concerns.

What if there could be a way of measuring every decision, particularly those that cost money.
How about ... "Is this decision going to make a difference to peoples lives, or is it all about a privilege for our club?"
Our new PM, spent thousands of dollars travelling to Brisbane to attend a MP's fund raiser, did not have spare seats for the Rudd family travelling back to Brisbane at the same time, arrived two hours late for a two hour function, then flew back to Canberra to shift into her flash new office, then fly back to Brisbane for a $5000 a head meet and greet.
Solution, talk to them over the internet and spend the wasted money on camp stretchers to put in empty halls for hundreds of Australians sleeping out in the cold.
Every decision that costs money should be challenged ... how could these resources be used to genuinely serve others in the community.
